Gamingonix is a games blog with one goal: reviews, guides and news for players who read past the trailer. We’re not chasing every headline the day it breaks — we’d rather tell you what a game is actually like to play, what to do with it once you own it, and what your PC needs to run it well.
The site is organized around four categories, and each one has a dedicated writer who owns it end to end.
The team
Covers announcements, releases and industry moves. Reports what happened and why it matters, fast and factual — she leaves the opinions to Jack.
Plays everything from tower-defense gacha to hundred-hour open worlds and reviews each game on its own terms. Fair, opinionated, and honest about real flaws.
Writes for players who just started a game and don’t want to waste their first ten hours. Practical, specific advice built around real decision points.
Breaks down PC requirements and the graphics settings that actually matter, explaining the real trade-off behind every setting rather than a generic “lower everything”.
How we work
Reviews get a real verdict and a score out of 10, decided by the person who actually played the game — not a marketing brief. Guides are built around genuine decision points, not generic checklists. News reports what happened and flags clearly when something is still a rumor. Setup pieces explain why a setting matters, not just what value to punch in.
